Welcome to Knob Noster Middle School!

My name is Mr. Brett Hieronymus. I am truly excited to join this talented team of educators at KNMS. This is my ninth year in the Knob Noster R-VIII District and sixteenth in education overall. Our basic beliefs focus on the KNMS WAY/4 Pillars of Leadership: Service-Character-Citizenship-Scholarship. 

Knob Noster Middle School's teaching staff of highly-qualified professionals provides a student-centered learning experience that engages students and incorporates the varied learning styles and abilities of middle schoolers. Knob Noster Middle School prides itself in providing a safe and caring learning environment. The curriculum in place is challenging, promoting students' confidence in their abilities, passion as they look into opportunities in their future, and enthusiasm to explore possibilities as they become lifelong learners who are responsible, productive citizens. Information about a student's progress is readily available through the school's Parent Portal or by contacting teachers directly. Hello, Knob Noster!

I am very excited to begin serving as the Assistant Principal and Activities Director for Knob Noster Middle School. After serving the past ten years as a middle school communication arts teacher, I look forward to this new chapter.  

Along with the entire staff of KNMS it is my goal to increase student learning. One way I hope to achieve this is through active communication. My door is always open and my phone is available to discuss any questions or concerns regarding your student’s progress. KNMS truly is a great place to learn and teach, and I want to do my part to make sure that we have a great year!!
